Lyme Regis Medical Centre

Jones Building Group have successfully completed the internal refurbishment of numerous rooms throughout the three storey medical centre including extensive energy saving mechanical and electrical improvements, new fixtures and fittings and decorations throughout.

In order for all works to be completed within the pre-agreed timescales and allow the medical centre to operate effectively we had to carry out the works in 4 phases. We continually monitored the logistical approach to the project, in collaboration with the Practice Manager to ensure that all staff and patients were fully understanding of the intended de-canting and re-occupation regime.

During the scheme a mix of our own operatives and local Sub-Contractors, from the local area, were utilised in the completion of these works. Regular weekly meetings were arranged with the key supply chain and all works were co-ordinated between the entire work force, both direct and sub-contracted. Fortnightly progress meetings were held with the project team to ensure all parties were informed of site progress continually.

As referred to previously our site manager was in daily communication with the practice manager, consultants, nurses and administrative staff which was essential in pre-planning and coordinating the delivery of the works on time and within budget.
